David Taylor Price ( born August 26, 1985 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee) is an American baseball player in the major leagues. He currently plays as a starting pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays.

Career

After graduating from high school Price was selected in MLB Draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers. However, he decided to accept a scholarship from Vanderbilt University and played three years in college team of the University. In MLB Draft 2007, he was chosen by the Tampa Bay Rays in the first round, the first player ever.
