David Rankin (artist)

David Rankin ( born 1946 in Plymouth, England) is an Australian painter.

David Rankin grew up in Australia. His artistic roots lie in Paul Klee. He had his first exhibition with 22 years in Sydney. He is married to the writer Lily Brett and lives in New York City.

In 1983 he won the Wynne Prize.
