Dawn of the Arcana

Dawn of Arcana (Japanese黎明のアルカナ, Reimei no Arukana ) is a manga series of Japanese illustrator Rei Toma, which appeared from 2009 to 2013 in Japan. The fantasy series has been translated into several languages.

Content

The young Nakaba (ナカバ), Princess of the country Senan (セナン), the prince of the warrior Belquat (ベルクート, Berukūto ) must marry. Meanwhile Prince Caesar (シーザ, Shiza ) is indeed handsome, but poorly treated Nakaba. Finally, it is primarily a hostage to guarantee peace between their two countries. Not only they, but also their servant Loki (ロキ, Roki ) is target of all kinds of attacks courtly society as he half animal of them is despised as half human. To King Guran (グラン) and his wife also spun that intrigues and Ceasers half brother Cain (カイン, Cain ) and his lover always cause trouble.

Publication

The manga was published on January 24, 2009 (Issue 3/2009) to 24 June 2013 ( issue 8/ 2013) in the Japanese shōjo manga magazine Cheese! the publisher Shogakukan. The chapters have been published as of May 26, 2009, in 13 anthologies, which sold more than 50,000 times.

In Viz Media, an English translation, in Kazé a French and Tong Li in Taiwan a Chinese appear. Since July 2012 published nine books with Carlsen Verlag in German.
