Dean Downing

Dean " Deano " Downing ( born January 24, 1975 in Rotherham ) is a British track and road racing cyclist.

Sports career

Dean Downing won a stage in 2004 at Ras Mumhan, where he was third overall. In 2005 he drove for the Continental team Recycling.co.uk, where he won a stage at the Bermuda Grand Prix for themselves. The next year he moved to DFL - Cyclingnews - Litespeed, where he was successful in Trofee van Haspengouw. In the 2007 season he was an amateur and won two stages at the Bike Line Two Day, the Tour of the Reservoir, a stage in Girvan Three Day and the Lincoln International Grand Prix. From 2008 to 2012 Downing went back for the cycling team Rapha Condor Recycling.co.uk.

On the railway Dean Downing in 2003 together with his younger brother Russell British champion at Madison. In the points race, he was at the British Championships in Manchester in 2004 and 2005 third runner-up. At the Track Cycling World Cup in Sydney in 2004 occupied the second place in the Downing scratch.
