Dean Parisot

Aldo L. " Dean" Parisot ( born 1952 in Wilton, Connecticut ) is an American screenwriter, director and film producer.

Life

His debut as a director, he was in 1985 with the short film Tom goes to the pub. Three years later, he turned with The Appointments of Dennis Jennings another short film, for the Parisot 1989 with the Oscar in the category Best Short Film Award. Also in 1988 he wrote his first screenplay for the film Still Life. Until the late 1990s, he was primarily active as a director for television. He directed several television films and directed some episodes of various television series. In 1993, he produced several episodes of the series Bakersfield PD, for which he was also director operates. In 1998, he turned with Home Fries his first feature film, followed by Galaxy Quest - Planlos through space a year later. Subsequently, he worked again for television and so staged about two episodes of the series Monk. With Dick and Jane in 2005 Parisot realized his third feature film. 2013 followed with R.E.D. 2, another film production. It is to the continuation R.E.D. - Older, hardener, better from the year 2010.

Dean Parisot lived until her death with his wife Sally Menke and their children in Los Angeles.
