Deinias

Deinias from Argos was an ancient Greek historian. He lived in the 3rd century BC and wrote a history of Argos ( Argolika ) in nine volumes, which is not obtained ( The fragments of Greek historians No. 306). In his work he dealt with the story of the mythical time until the Battle of Cleonae ( about 235 BC).

Its identity with the Deinias, who had 252 BC along with Aristotle the dialectician slay the tyrant of the city Sicyon, Abantidas, is uncertain.
