Delhi Half Marathon

The Delhi Half Marathon ( Airtel Delhi Half Marathon official name ) is a half marathon, which takes place in New Delhi since 2005, and one of the most highly endowed road races around the world. He stands in the tradition of the World Half Marathon Championships in 2004.

The start and finish line is the turning point at the Nehru Park. First, the course describes an arc to the south before he approaches from the southeast to the India Gate. From there westward to the Rajpath. At the junction with Janpath, turn to the north and reaches the turning point in the Windsor Place Circle.

Including the minor competitions took in 2009 over 29,000 people attended the event. However, it can register its time with a transponder only a fraction of the runner.
