Lineth Chepkurui

Lineth Chepkurui ( born February 23, 1988 in Bomet ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner.

The Running it began in the Bukacha Primary School. After they had completed the Kirimwok Secondary School in 2004, she moved to Iten, where she continued her training.

In 2005 she won the half-marathon competition of the Nairobi Marathon. Due to this success, the launch were taught at international races from which they equal the first one a month later held half marathon of the Dallas White Rock Marathon won.

2006 was followed by victories at the Philadelphia Half Marathon and the Delhi Half Marathon. In 2007 she was recruited by the Kenyan Air Force. After their basic training, they not only won the half marathon again in Nairobi, but also the Lagos Half Marathon. In 2008, she finished sixth in the World 's Best 10K and Twelfth at the World Cross Country Championships. Then she paused to to cure a violation.

In the Cross Country World Cup 2009 in Amman, she finished fourth and won with the Kenyan team gold.

In 2010 she was at the Cross Country Championships in Bydgoszcz Fifth and again won team gold. In the summer they put the Beach to Beacon 10K with a 31:00 course record.

Lineth Chepkurui is 1.57 m and weighs 43 kg. It is run by KIMbia Athletics and coached by Dieter Hogen and Godfrey Kiprotich.
