Dempsey Wilson

Dempsey Wilson ( born March 11, 1927 in Los Angeles, † April 23, 1971 ) was an American race car driver.

Dempsey Wilson drove in 1956, in the years 1958-1965 and 1968 and 1969 in the USAC racing series. Overall, he came up with 32 racing commitments. Four times he was with the 500 miles of Indianapolis at the start. Since the 500 miles included from 1950 to 1960 Formula 1 World Championship, are in Wilson two runs to the World Series in Statistics. Both in 1958 and 1960, he failed to reach points. Wilson was not one of the most successful drivers of this racing series. His best finish was eighth place finish in Milwaukee in 1960.
