Dengeki Daisy
Dengeki Daisy (Japanese電撃 デイジー, Dengeki Deijī ) is a romantic - comedic shōjo manga by Kyosuke Motomi. It is published by the Betsucomi magazine. In February 2013, twelve issues appeared, eleven in German.
Action
As Terus older brother died, it was just a cell phone with the number of a man named " DAISY " to assist Teru when her brother this is no longer able. DAISY was over the next few years a great support for them by encouraging them over the phone, or by words of inspiration or simple small talk, so she is not alone with their problems.
One afternoon, after she was harassed by students of the student advisory board and they were scared away by a stranger, Teru accidentally breaks a school window. As punishment she has to work for the grumpy, mean, school janitor Kurosaki Tasuku. From then on, Teru developed deeper feelings for the mysterious man who supports them, and she wants to meet him.
So she wonders if Kurosaki is the beloved of her DAISY, while Kurosaki also feels drawn to Teru. He was actually hired by her brother to protect her. As hackers Kurosaki has worked together with her brother and now feels responsible for the death of his friend.

Manga
The series is written and drawn by Kyosuke Motomi and appeared in Shogakukans monthly shōjo magazine Betsucomi from issue 6/2007 (12 May 2007) to issue 11/2013 (12 October 2013). The individual chapters also appeared in so far (as of October 2013) 15 edited volumes ( tankōbon ); the first appeared on 26 October 2007.
The series is published in Taiwan by the editor Ever Glory Publishing in France by Kazé in North America by Viz Media and in Russia by Rosman Publishing. Until July 2012, ten issues were published in the United States and Canada. Since November 2010, the series is published in German at Tokyopop in the previous 13 volumes.
Reception
North American fans chose the series as part of the About.com Manga Readers' Choice Awards 2011 for best newly published shojo manga of 2010.
