Denmark at the 2012 Summer Paralympics
Denmark sent to the Paralympic Summer Games in 2012 in London, consisting of 28 athletes team. From Disabled Sports Association Dansk Handicap Idræts - Forbund was as flag bearer at the opening ceremony of the table tennis player and gold medalist in 2008, Peter Rose Meier ( born 1984 ), selected for which there is already the third Paralympics participation in a row. The Dannebrog at the graduation ceremony held the float Jonas Larsen, who swam five personal bests during the games in its class and set a new national record in the 100m freestyle. For the dressing, the yield of five medals corresponded to an acceptable level, even if seven medals were thought possible in advance.

Performance Fees
Team Danmark decided in advance to increase the performance fees of Paralympic medalists: namely to 50,000 DKK for a gold medal and a bronze medal for 17,500 DKK ( 35,000 DKK would it have been for a silver medal ).
