Deportivo Colonia

The Club Deportivo Colonia, short Deportivo Colonia (nickname: Depor Colonia ) is a football club from the city, in the department of Colonia Juan Lacaze city in southwestern Uruguay. Currently there is no competition - participation of the Association in the ON, the Uruguayan Football Association, instead.

History

The club was founded on 16 October 1999 supporting the Federación de Fútbol de Colonia Departamental to establish a club from the regional department in professional football. Due to financial problems, it withdrew in August 2006 back from the game.

Achievements

Since 2000, they played in the second division of Uruguay, the Segunda División. After promotion to the Primera División held you there from 2003 to 2005.
