Depressor supercilii muscle

The depressor supercilii ( " depressors of the brow ") is a skin muscle in the region of the eyebrow ( supercilium ) and belongs to the facial muscles. He is considered by some authors as an independent non- muscle, but as part of the orbicularis oculi muscle. The muscle originates at the edge of the eye socket near the lacrimal bone and radiates below the musculus corrugator supercilii in the forehead skin. The muscle pulls the eyebrow down.
