The main distribution area is the former chief official Kirchheim- Teck, this corresponds to the south-east of present-day district of Esslingen. The daily circulation of 14,672 copies at a Subscriber share of about 96 percent.

History

The newspaper was founded in 1832. Initially it appeared as a weekly advertising paper titled weekly newspaper for the Upper District Kirchheim unter Teck. From the year 1869, the newspaper was published as a daily newspaper and shifted its focus from then on were the political and cultural life in the Swabian Oberamt Kirchheim unter Teck in focus. After the Second World War and the banning of the newspaper she could reappear under the name Teck -Rundschau only in 1949.

Since 1968 the regional messages containing certain part of the mantle Teckboten is obtained from the Südwestpresse in Ulm.
