Derlis Gómez

Derlis Venancio López Gómez ( born November 2, 1972 in Ypacaraí ) is a Paraguayan football player.

The goalkeeper started his career in 1991 at Club Sol de América, for whom he played until 1996. Then followed by three years at Club Guaraní, before joining Sportivo Luqueño 2001 Libertad Asunción and 2002. In 2003 he went to Club 12 de Octubre and 2004 for Olimpia Asunción, before he again returned to Sportivo Luqueño 2005.

He was the third goalkeeper of Paraguay squad for the FIFA World Cup 2006, but did not play. Also at the 2010 World Cup, he was standing in the Paraguayan squad. He made his debut until the age of 33 in 2005 and has also contested only five matches on 10 June 2006.
