Desa Urošević

Desa was Serbian wholesale Župan of Raszien of about 1161 to 1165.

After the defeat of his father Uroš II Desa was used by the Byzantine Empire as a wholesale Župan, Raszien came under Byzantine domination. Desa ventured an unsuccessful uprising against the Byzantine Empire and was deposed. With him ended the line of Urošević, and it came the time of the most important Serbian dynasty, that of the Nemanjic.
