Desargues (crater)

Desargues is an impact crater on the moon on the northwestern edge of the moon 's front panel. It is located south of Pascal and west of Carpenter. The crater walls are badly eroded.

The crater was named in 1964 by the IAU by the French architect and mathematician Gérard Desargues.
