Design Academy Eindhoven

The Design Academy Eindhoven is a Design Academy in Eindhoven.

History

Created in 1947 under the name " Academy for Industrial Design Eindhoven ( AIVE - Industriële Academy Eindhoven Vormgeving ) " was founded. 1997 pulled the Academy in the factory building " De Witte Dame", a building from the time of the New Objectivity to and got its present name.

From 1999 to 2009 was president of Edelkoort Lidewij the Design Academy Eindhoven. Since 2009, Annemieke Eggenkamp is the President and since 2011 they, together with Igor van Hooff the management of the Academy.

Organization

The Design Academy Eindhoven is regarded as a prestigious training centers for design. The bachelor 's and master's degrees are completed in trimesters; will also be offered a postgraduate master's degree. Language of instruction is Dutch and English.
