Deutscher Motorsport Verband

The German Motor Sports Association eV ( DMV ) is a sports association of automotive and motorcycle racing, based in Frankfurt am Main.

The DMV was founded in 1923 in Halle ( Saale). He is together with the ADAC and the AVD support of the German Federal Motor Sports DMSB.

The German Motor Sports Association eV leads annually up to 700 national and international motorsport events in Germany. The range extends from the World and European Championships over German Championships through to historic sports and sport touring motorcycles and automobiles.

In addition to classic automotive circuit races (eg DMV Touring Car Challenge - TCC, DMV BMW Challenge ) and the motorcycle road racing (eg DMV Circuit Championship - DRC) provides the DMV Motor athletes in almost all disciplines the necessary conditions and structures for their sport. They may include, for example karting, automobile slalom, hill climbs, motocross, quad, trial, Supermoto, train sports, ice speedway, enduro, motorcycle biathlon and touring sports.

Together with its more than 400 clubs, providing the DMV Motor athletes in almost all disciplines the necessary conditions and structures for their sport. Here, the DMV has a special focus on the youth and amateur sports promotion as a non-profit organization.

Is an important contribution here is the self -managed young organization, the Motor Sports Youth ( MSJ ) in the DMV, which is also a member of the German Sports Youth dsj, the youth organization of the German Olympic Sports Confederation DOSB. Through training and funding is intended to allow talented young racing drivers to compete in sports competitions and compete if they have performed well in international comparison.
