Diane Johnson

Diane Johnson ( born April 28, 1934 in Moline, Illinois) is an American writer.

Life

In addition to published books she also writes since the 70s for The New York Review of Books. Together with the director Stanley Kubrick wrote the screenplay for the film The Shining, which is based on the novel The Shining by Stephen King.

Johnson now lives in Paris and San Francisco.
