Diane Sands

Diane Sands ( born March 23, 1947 in St. Ignatius, Lake County, Montana ) is an American politician.

Life

After her schooling Sands studied anthropology at the University of Montana and then studied at George Washington University in Washington. She is a member of the Democratic Party. Between January 1997 and January 1999 Sands Member of the House of Representatives from Montana. Sands joined in 1999 not again as deputies in the elections and pulled for professional reasons to Oregon. Upon her return, she was again elected to the House of Representatives from Montana in 2006, where she has been in office since 2007. She was the first openly lesbian MP.
