Dick Turpin

Richard ( Dick) Turpin ( September 21, 1705 *, † April 7, 1739 ) was an English highwayman and cattle rustler in Epping Forest. His life serves as a model for the fictional character Dick Turpin in various works of literature, music and theater and filmmaking.

Action

Most stories take place in England in the 18th century. There the citizens Richard Dick Turpin lives (Dick is the English short form of Richard ). After being betrayed by the authorities, and the judiciary does not get help, he is an avenger in their own right, and as a fighter against injustice towards other citizens.
