Dieudonné Costes
Dieudonné Costes (* November 4, 1892 in Septfonds, Tarn- et- Garonne, † May 18, 1973 in Paris) was a French pilot.
Dieudonné Costes succeeded with his co-pilot Joseph Le Brix with a Breguet 19 on 14 and 15 October 1927, the first nonstop flight across the South Atlantic. On 2 September 1930, he overcame along with Maurice Bellonte the Lindbergh Route ( Paris - New York) in the opposite direction in 37 hours and 18 minutes.
He is buried in the Passy Cemetery in Paris.
