Dikhil (Region)

( Also written Dikkil, Arabic دخيل, DMG Diḫīl ) Dikhil is a region in the southwest of Djibouti. Your capital is the city of Dikhil. Other major towns in the region are Ela, Galafi and Yoboki.

The region is bordered to the north by the region Tadjoura, to the west and south by Ethiopia, and on the east by the Regions Ali Sabieh and Arta. The latter region (400 km ² ) was formed from the eastern part Dikhils (1400 km ² on the Gulf of Tadjoura ) as well as from the surrounding countryside to the west and south of Djibouti City in 2002.

In Dikhil is a part of the Abbe lake which extends to Ethiopian territory.
