Galafi

Region

Galafi is a small village in the Dikhil region in Djibouti, near the border with Ethiopia.

Since 1975, combines an all-weather road Galafi with Djibouti City and the neighboring countries Ethiopia and Eritrea. About this road a part of the trade between Ethiopia and Djibouti is handled, but it plays a minor role compared to the railway Addis Ababa - Djibouti. In 1978 she came briefly to greater importance than the railway line was interrupted because of Ogadenkrieges.
