History

Dimension Data was founded in 1983 in South Africa and is available in 49 countries around the world, spread over all five continents represented by its own subsidiaries. Dimension Data specializes in the areas of network and data center, IT security, voice and video communications, and application integration. In 2010, Dimension Data had a global workforce of 12,000 people and generated 4.7 billion U.S. dollars in sales. In October 2010, Dimension Data was 100% of NTT, one of the world's largest telecommunications provider, acquired.

Dimension Data is one of the largest Cisco Gold partners worldwide.

Branch BRD

The German branch - Dimension Data Germany AG & Co. KG - has its headquarters in Bad Homburg near Frankfurt, with offices in Hamburg, Berlin, Dusseldorf, Stuttgart and Munich. Dimension Data Germany employed in 2010 more than 400 employees and generated sales of more than 150 million euros.
