Diminished Capacity is an American comedy film from the year 2008. Directed by Terry Kinney, the screenplay was written by Sherwood Kiraly on the basis of own eponymous novel.

Action

The acting in Chicago reporter Cooper suffers from memory loss. He announces the work and travels to his hometown. There he meets his Uncle Rollie, who suffers from Alzheimer 's disease. Cooper, Rollie and Cooper's high school friend Charlotte prepare to sell a historic, valuable ticket to a baseball game. For this purpose they travel to Chicago, where a gathering of fans takes place.

Reviews

John Anderson wrote in the journal Variety of 25 January 2008, the comedy resembles a slightly edible sitcom and have little energy ("low - energy" ); the well-known performer could provide a considerable box office earnings. The screenplay was emotionally manipulative.

Kirk Honeycutt wrote in the magazine The Hollywood Reporter on 23 January 2008, the film is a comedy about memory loss that can be made entirely forgotten. Alda offers an interesting display as mentally unstable uncle, but Broderick Am working as if he were sleepwalking.
