Virginia Madsen
Virginia Madsen ( born September 11, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois ) is an American actress.
Life and career
After graduating from high school Madsen attended the Ted Liss Studio for the Performing Arts in Chicago and the Harand Camp Adult Theater Seminar in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. Their older brother Michael is also a well known actor.
Mid-1980s when she was a set on the role of seductress actress, she could not break through. After guest roles in series such as CSI: Miami had taken over, she made a comeback in the movie Sideways. For her performance in the melancholic comedy, she received nominations for both an Academy Award and Golden Globe. For her role in Candyman, she received a 1993 Saturn Award for Best Actress.
From 1989 to 1992 Madsen was married to actor and director Danny Huston. The actor Antonio Sabato Jr. has a son.
