Dinos Painter

The Dinos Painter is a painter of the Attic red-figure - style. He looked about in the second half of the 5th century BC

The Dinos Painter in the tradition of Kleophon Painter, however, seems less serious. He stands at the junction between the High and Late Classic. With him begins a new interest in Attic vase painter of epic scenes. One or a few characters are the focus of an event, not the history of an event is shown in frieze form. His drawings initiate the lush style of the next generation, it also utilizes already increasingly opaque white for the elaboration of details.
