Diosdado Simón

Diosdado Simón Villares (* October 15, 1954 in Torremenga; † 28 April 2002 Cáceres) was a Spanish botanist.

Simón Villares studied biology at the University Complutense of Madrid and studied the vegetation of Extremadura. He was the director of the Departamento de Parques y Jardines del Ayuntamiento de Cáceres and gardens and a member of ADENEX.

He was associated with the lawyer Dolores Neria and they had two children. Simón Villares died in 2002 from lung cancer, huevos after the end of his exhibition Por.

The Jardín Diosdado Simón, a park in Cáceres, has been named after him.
