Diósgyőri VTK

The Diósgyőri VTK, the Diósgyor - Vasgyári Testgyakorlók Köre (Eng. " circuit for physical training of the iron workers of Diósgyor ") is a football club based in the western suburb Diósgyor the North Hungarian city of Miskolc, who currently plays in the first division.

History

The association founded in 1910, plays in the DVTK Stadium summarizes the 17,000 spectators. The popular club plays since the takeover of the Premiership startup license of Lake Balaton FC again in 2004 in the first league, where he has spent a total of 42 seasons since 1940.

The greatest success of the club in the years 1977 and 1980, when he won the Hungarian Cup twice. In this competition DVTK was also in the years 1942, 1965 and 1981 in the final. The best league finish was previously the 3rd place of 1979.

The legendary coach Márton Bukovi, considered the inventor of the 4-2- 4 system, supervised the crew of 1962 to 1964.
