Dipsy Selolwane

Diphgetogo " Dipsy " Selolwane ( born January 27, 1978 in Gaborone ) is a botswanischer football player who plays for Supersport United in Pretoria, South Africa and the Botswana national football team.

Career

Selolwane began his career with his hometown club Gaborone United. In 2000 he went to the United States to the Saint Louis University, where he played football until 2001. He then moved to Denmark to Vejle BK, where he completed five games. In 2002 he returned to the U.S., this time for professional franchise Chicago Fire SC in the Major League Soccer. In the three years in Chicago, he played 27 times and scored three goals. 2005 was followed by a move to Real Salt Lake, where he only came eight times, a field that could not score a goal. In the same year he returned to Africa. He signed a contract with Santos Cape Town and played there until 2007, then he joined Jomo Cosmos to Johannesburg, where he played only twice in 2008 and moved to Ajax Cape Town. From there he went to Pretoria for the reigning champions SuperSport United.

Since 1999 Selolwane is botswanischer national team. In at least 40 games, he hit nine times by January 2012.
