Direction du Renseignement Militaire

Direction du Renseignement Militaire (DRM ) is the military intelligence service of France, which was founded on 16 June 1992. The DRM is directly subordinate to the Ministry of Defence. The establishment of the DRM was a response to the end of the Cold War, and was strongly supported by intelligence failure in the context of the Second Gulf War. The headquarters of the Organization shall be in Paris.
