Dirk Galuba

Dirk Galuba ( born August 28, 1940 in Pila, Pomerania ) is a German actor and voice actor.

Training

Dirk Galuba grew up in Bremen, where he made his high school diploma. Then he began to study medicine at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität in Münster, which he broke off but soon after in favor of a drama school. Then studied Galuba four semesters German and Theatre Studies before attending the Westphalian Drama School in Bochum.

Career

At the Schauspielhaus Bochum Galuba also received his first stage commitment. It was followed until 1974, two fixed stations at the theater theater of the city of Heidelberg and at the stages of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck. Among his stage roles included, among other things at this time: Ferdinand in Kabale und Liebe, Orsino in Twelfth Night and Templar in Nathan the Wise. Since then Galuba worked as a freelance actor. Since 1969 Galuba is also a busy actor in film and television. He played Ole Peters in the Ghost Rider adaptation of Alfred wicker man, in Lili Marleen, directed by Rainer Werner Fassbinder and five films of the crime scene series with the Commissioners Flemming, cook and Ballauf Kriminalrat Tejung. He also had numerous guest appearances on television series such as body and soul, The Black Forest Clinic, In aller Freundschaft, A Case for Two, The Old Man, SOKO 5113, Der Bulle von Tölz and historical in Steven Spielberg's mini-series Band of Brothers.
