Dirk Galuba
Dirk Galuba ( born August 28, 1940 in Pila, Pomerania ) is a German actor and voice actor.
Training
Dirk Galuba grew up in Bremen, where he made his high school diploma. Then he began to study medicine at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität in Münster, which he broke off but soon after in favor of a drama school. Then studied Galuba four semesters German and Theatre Studies before attending the Westphalian Drama School in Bochum.
Career
At the Schauspielhaus Bochum Galuba also received his first stage commitment. It was followed until 1974, two fixed stations at the theater theater of the city of Heidelberg and at the stages of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck. Among his stage roles included, among other things at this time: Ferdinand in Kabale und Liebe, Orsino in Twelfth Night and Templar in Nathan the Wise. Since then Galuba worked as a freelance actor. He had more theater roles on the comedy Berlin (1977 ), Fritz - Rémond Theatre at the zoo in Frankfurt am Main, at the little comedy Munich (1979 and 1982 ), at the Düsseldorf Chamber Games ( 1982 in play Macbeth by Pavel Kohout ) and at the Theater Essen ( 1985, title role in Philoctetes by Heiner Müller). 1981/1982 he appeared in the play Elizabeth of England by Ferdinand Bruckner in a touring production alongside Maria Schell.
Since 1969 Galuba is also a busy actor in film and television. He played Ole Peters in the Ghost Rider adaptation of Alfred wicker man, in Lili Marleen, directed by Rainer Werner Fassbinder and five films of the crime scene series with the Commissioners Flemming, cook and Ballauf Kriminalrat Tejung. He also had numerous guest appearances on television series such as body and soul, The Black Forest Clinic, In aller Freundschaft, A Case for Two, The Old Man, SOKO 5113, Der Bulle von Tölz and historical in Steven Spielberg's mini-series Band of Brothers.
A wide audience is Galuba primarily for his portrayal of shady and unscrupulous characters known as he embodied the red mile than Kiez King Kastor in a total of twenty-two episodes of the crime series Derrick and the Sat.1 series. In the meantime over 1900 episodes (February 2014) he plays since 2005 in the German telenovela storm of love the seedy hotel director Werner Saalfeld.

In addition Galuba lent his deep voice as a voice actor, among others Malcolm McDowell ( in I Spy ), Bubba Smith, Fred Ward ( in Road Trip ) and David Clennon ( in The Agency - In the crosshairs of the CIA). The character of Nago in Hayao Miyazaki anime film Princess Mononoke, he gave his voice as well as the tyrannical ruler of the kingdom Drumm, King Wapol, in the anime series One Piece.
For a time he also spoke the voices of cartoon characters Drederick Tatum and Fat Tony in The Simpsons.
