Discordian calendar#Implementations

Ddate is a small program that displays a date after the Discordian calendar. It was originally developed by Druel the Chaotic aka Jeremy Johnson and then by Lee H:. O:. Smith, alias Andrew KYTP Bulhak revised. The list of authors also carries the hint Five tons of flax (Eng. "Five tons of flax ", an allusion to a known Kōan ). The program is licensed as public domain, all rites reversed (English about " all twisted rites ").

The program ddate is included as part of the Linux package util -linux by default on many Linux distributions. As of version 2.23, however, is ddate no longer part of the standard package.

For Microsoft Windows ddate can be found in the collection CygUtils program for Windows.
