Diwan-e Shams-e Tabrizi

The Dīwān -e Shams -e Tabrizi (Persian دیوان شمس تبریزی ) or Dīwān -e Shams -e Kabīr, or Dīwān is a work by the Persian mystic Jalal ad-Din ar - Rumi, and is next to the Masnawi as one of his masterpieces. It is also one of the outstanding works of Sufism and Persian literature in general.

The work is a collection of lyric poetry in 25 000 verses. It contains seals of different verse forms ( odes, elegies, quatrains and Ghasale ) mostly in the Persian language. There are other poems in Arabic and mixed Persian / Greek and Persian / Turkish poetry.

Linguistically, the sofa is characterized by its skillful use of rhyme and rhythm that gives his poetry an enormous power and musicality. Sound and Wortdoppelungen and unusual word games created new associations that add to what has been said more aspects of meaning and evidence of a linguistic mastery and high intellectual depth.

The plant probably originated in a period of 30 years from the year 1243 in honor of Shams -e Tabrizi, the friend and teacher of Rumi.
