DJK Agon 08 Düsseldorf

The DJK Agon 08 Mörsenbroicher SV eV is a sports club from Dusseldorf - Moersenbroich. The abbreviation stands for DJK German youth force, see DJK sports association.

The basketball department of the Ladies is one of twelve won the German Championships ( 1975, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1990, 1991) and six recovered DBB Cups (1980, 1981, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1988) and two second places in the European Cup of Champions (1983, 1986) the most successful clubs in Germany. The most successful period in their coached by Tony DiLeo team remained in national competitions ( league and cup ) 136 matches in a row unbeaten, so she was admitted to the German -language edition of the Guinness Book of World Records.

In addition to the basketball department of the club has eight other departments. The DJK Agon 08 still offers tennis, table tennis, gymnastics, athletics, handball, volleyball, badminton and football.

The football department is the second flagship of the club. The first team will be competing in the 2010/11 season in the district league. The second team plays in the county league C. The youth department takes from the Bambinis up to the Youth B Championships at the operating part.

The sports complex at St. Francis Street has a clubhouse, a clay court, an artificial turf field, as well as a career.
