Dmitry Lobkov

Dmitri Vladimirovich Lobkow (Russian: Дмитрий Владимирович Лобков, born February 2, 1981 in Gorky ) is a Russian speed skater who specializes in the sprint distances.

Dmitri Lobkow debuted in December 2000 at the World Cup in Seoul. To date (November 2006), he won three World Cup races over 500 meters. Another ten times he could run in the top three. In the World Cup he came in the 2001/ 02 season to sixth place in the following two seasons on the seventh and two. His good season 2003/ 04 is also marked with a seventh place in the 100 -meter World Cup and the Vice World Champion over 500 meters at the World Championships in Seoul behind Jeremy Wotherspoon. Six times he was Russian Champion and twice runner-up.
