Dmitry Manuilsky

Dmitri Sacharowitsch Manuilsky (Russian: Дмитрий Захарович Мануильский; * 21.jul / October 3 1883greg in the village Swjatez, Volyn Governorate, Russian Empire, .. † February 22, 1959 in Kiev ) was a Ukrainian and Soviet politician. Manuilsky served as First Secretary of the Communist Party of Ukraine 1921 up to 1923.

Manuilsky 1921 sent by the KPU in the Comintern. Since 1924 he worked in the Political Commission and by 1943 Secretary of the ECCI Presidium. He then led from 1929 to 1934, the Comintern after the fall of Bukharin.

1944 to 1952 he was Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Ukrainian SSR. This was followed by his work as a delegate to the United Nations.
