Dobrzyki

Dobrzyki ( German wine village) is a village in the Warmia and Masuria in northeastern Poland. The place belongs to Gmina Zalewo in powiat Iławski.

Geography

Dobrzyki lies in the moraine landscape of the Upper Lands, about five kilometers southwest of Zalewo. The district of the town is exposed between the Jezioro Ewingi ( Ewingsee ) in the north and the Jezioro Jeziorak ( Geserichsee ) in the south. It is traversed in a north-south direction from Kanał Dobrzycki (wine villages channel).

History

Wine village was founded by the Teutonic Knights in 1304 as hooves interest village. The place name derives from the personal name Wigand, the name of the locator and first mayor, from.

At the same time the village was a parish church. The church building preserved today comes mainly from the 17th century, but the choir is still Gothic. The pulpit dates from the 18th, the altarpiece from the 19th century.

Between 1525 and 1945 there was a Lutheran church that belonged to the diocese of Saalfeld from 1819 to the diocese ( church district ) Morag and 1903. In 1900, belonged to the parish wine village the places wine village, Bukowitz, Gerswalde ( with forestry ), Haack, combing, KÖSSEN, Lixainen, Motitten, Paulehnen, Rohden, Rotzung, Schwalgendorf and Forstgutsbezirk Schwalgendorf. The priest was at the same local school inspector of the four elementary schools in wine village, Gerswalde, Motitten and Schwalgendorf, involving a total of ten teachers were hired. Patron of the parish was the King of Prussia. The community had about 3,000 members.

In 1874 the administrative district wine village was formed in the district of Morag. He covered the rural communities Haack, combing, Köszen and wine village and the estate districts Paulehnen and Rohden and the Ewing Lake. In 1929, the rural community Köszen was incorporated into the rural community of wine-making village. After the same time held the resolution estate districts in Prussia the District wine village was virtually unchanged boundaries of the three communities combing, Paulehnen and wine village. District and local wine village existed in this form until 1945. The municipality wine village had 691 inhabitants in 1933 and 730 inhabitants in 1939.

After integration into the Polish state wine village was renamed Dobrzyki and the Gmina Zalewo connected. Between 1954 and 1957 formed Dobrzyki own Gromada in the powiat Moraski. Dobrzyki is now the seat of the Gmina Office Schulz Zalewo to the still Bednarzkówka ( Böttchershof ) Jezierce ( Haack ), Kiemiany ( combing ), Koziny ( Köszen ) and Polajny ( Paulehnen ) belong.

Religion

The place is seat of a Roman Catholic rectory, from which also the affiliated churches in Jerzwałd and Siemiany be managed. The parish is part of the Dean's Office Miłomłyn in the Diocese of Elbląg.
