But, Doctor ... (Original Title: Doctor in the House ) is the first film from the series of Doctor movies. As the successor it was based on a purchaser of the same name by Richard Gordon.

Content

The focus of the film is about a young medical student Herbert Sperling, who with three other students Grimsdyke, Benskin (both are already repeatedly fallen through the trials ) and Taffy at St. Swithin's Teaching Hospital medical school. Head of the hospital is Sir Lancelot Sprat, a strict brummeliger and slightly short-tempered (but fair ) man. Although sparrow and his comrades ( some more, some less ) endeavor, they get quite often with Sprat together. Added to also come flirtations that distract from the study also Sperling.
