Dokeos

Dokeos is a learning platform. The software is written in PHP, database backend is MySQL. Also SCORM packages can be imported. About the admin frontend users, groups, and classes can be created using CSV or XML files.

History

Dokeos is a fork of Claroline, performed by one of the main developers in 2004. Since then, there was next to the open source version, two other non-free versions. This led to resentment in the developer and user community and early 2010 Chamilo split off.

Standards

Dokeos can also be linked with LDAP. Since the release of 1.6 is in Dokeos also tried to W3C standards (XHTML and CSS) to meet. JavaScript is required, and is compatibility with SCORM resorted according to their use on frames in the learning path module.
