Dolphin Tale is a feature film, which depicts the friendship between a boy and a dolphin and is based on a true story. The film was released on 23 September 2011 in the U.S. and December 15 in Germany.
Action
The boy Sawyer finds along with an angler an injured dolphin on the beach in Clearwater, Florida. The female dolphin, which is named Winter, is brought to a nearby seafood Hospital. Here it succeeds Dr. Clay Haskett to save the life of the animal, but his Fluke has to be amputated. Then begins the winter itself, to develop an alternative way to swimming: She moves her butt from side to side, like a fish 's tail fin. This strengthens the side effect of the lateral muscles in the tail. It is feared that the unnatural muscle growth in the long term would damage their spine. Sawyer, who befriends Hasketts daughter Hazel, neglected to worry his mother's school to spend time with winter.
