Domenico Corvi

Domenico Corvi ( born September 16, 1721 Viterbo, † July 22, 1803 in Rome) was an Italian painter of the Rococo and Classicism.

Domenico Corvi went with 15 years to Rome, where he became a pupil of Francesco Mancini. He created the first major works from the late 1750's for the Villa Doria Pamphili and Villa Borghese, hereafter he painted altarpieces especially for Italian and Swiss churches. One of his students was Vincenzo Camuccini.
