Dominic Barker
Dominic Barker (born 1966 in Southport ) is a British children's book author.
Biography
Dominic Barker was born in 1966 in Southport. After graduating from the University of Birmingham in English, he spent two years as part of a comedy duo. Then he decided finally to the teaching profession. Having long worked as a teacher at Secondary Schools in Liverpool, London and Dorset and lived, he is dedicated to present as part of a sabbatical fully the letter in Barcelona.
His first work, Sharp Stuff came in 2000 on the short list ( list ) of the Branford Boase Award and Blart: The Boy Who Did not Want to Save the World won the 2007 Stockton Children's Book of the Year.
