Dominique Othenin-Girard
Dominique Othenin -Girard (born 1958 in Le Locle, Canton of Neuchâtel, Switzerland ) is a Swiss film director.
He made 1981 his diploma at the London Film School and was in the same year by Karel Reisz assistant director at The French Lieutenant's and Alain Tanner at Les années lumière. For his first feature film After the darkness, he founded his own production company.
After a few more productions in 1987 he went to Los Angeles and turned the 1988 low-budget horror film Deliver Us From Evil, which was praised by critics and earned him the job as a director and screenwriter of Halloween 5 (1989). In 1990 he founded in Los Angeles again a production company.
