Domnista (Greek Δομνίστα ( f sg ) ) is a Greek village in the region of Central Greece. Since 1912 (originally as Domnitsa Δομνίτσα ) it was an independent country community ( kinotita ), from 1997 incorporations municipality ( dimos ) that worked as district Domnista in the enlarged community Karpenisi 2011. Until then Domnista comprised seven municipal districts with a large number of small villages. These are mainly in the valley of Krikellopotamos, which moves from east-northeast to west southwest through the southern part of the Agrafa Mountains. The Krikellopotamos flows through it also the seat of the municipality Domnista, the small village Krikello. The community Dominsta therefore a strong rural and mountainous character; correspondingly low, the population density. The municipality borders the regional districts Etoloakarnania ( south-west and south) and Fthiotida (east).

The municipal districts of the Autonomous Community Domnista are now run as the villages and have their own local offices:
