Reception

Criticism

" The concept works and what follows is 22 minutes of a solid single-camera comedy pilot. In addition, it is packed with the now common stylistic devices such as cutaways and a flashback that take over a portion of the exposure and the premise statement. The whole is seasoned by a handful of Supporting Characters, such as the stalker neighbor and ex- colleagues who already lovable, twisted and interesting now as so much of what the multi-camera comedies like 2 Broke Girls, Whitney or Are you there, Chelsea? have provided in this TV season. In addition a wonderfully exaggerated version of Dawson 's Creek leading actor James Van Der Beek Himself, competent female leads and you have a promising comedy reboot. "
