Don Mitchell (actor)

Don Mitchell ( born March 17, 1943 in Houston, Texas as Donald Michael Mitchell, † December 8, 2013 in Encino, California ) was an American actor in film and television.

Life and career

To be an actor, was born in Houston, Texas in 1943 Don Mitchell earned his degree in Fine Arts from the University of California at Los Angeles. Mitchell played from 1965 to 1993 various television roles, including he had appearances in episodes of well-known series, including: Mr. Novak (1965 ), I Dream of Jeannie ( 1965-1966 ), Bewitched (1966 ), The Fugitive (1966 -1967 ), people of the Virginian (1967 ) Medical Story ( 1976) Wonder Woman (1978), cHiPs (1979 ) or Matlock (1986). He played a slightly more complex TV role as Officer Mark Sanger in 1975 in the television series The boss. In 1993 he played the role again in the TV movie The boss returns.

In the cinema Don Mitchell acted in a few films as an actor in appearance. In 1973, he played under the direction of Bob Kelljan in the horror film The cry of death, the role of Justin Carter at the side of fellow actors like William Marshall and Pam Grier. 1991 cast him the director Roland S. Jefferson in his drama Perfume in the role of Sheldon.

The marriage to actress Judy Pace and Emily Blake Walker ended in divorce. His daughter Shawn Meshelle Mitchell was also an actress.
