Don Ryder, Baron Ryder of Eaton Hastings

Sydney Thomas Franklin Ryder, Baron Ryder of Eaton Hastings ( * September 16, 1916, † 12 May 2003) known as Don Ryder was a businessman and Labour peer.

Career

Ryder was Chairman of the National Enterprise Board and was involved in the development of the Ryder Report. The Ryder Report was a Restrukturietrungsplan for British Leyland during the 1970s.

On 15 July 1975 he was appointed Life peer as Baron Ryder of Eaton Hastings Oxfordshire.
